Face Data and Photo Processing

When you use HairStyleShare - Color Try On's hairstyle transformation features, you may upload photos containing your face. Here's exactly how we handle this sensitive information:

What We Collect

We collect photos you choose to upload from your device's photo library or camera that show your face and hair. We do not collect separate biometric face data (no Face ID data, face templates, or facial recognition identifiers). These photos are:

• Automatically resized to optimize processing
• Compressed to JPEG format for efficient transmission
• Processed entirely on a temporary, transient basis
• Never stored permanently on our servers

How We Use Your Photos

Your photos are processed by Wiro.ai, which runs OpenAI GPT Image 2, to generate realistic visualizations of how different hairstyles and hair colors would look on you. This processing happens in real-time and:

• Analyzes your uploaded photo
• Applies the hairstyle or color transformation you selected
• May use a public reference image for the selected style (when applicable)
• Generates a new image showing the transformation
• Returns the result to your device
• Completes in approximately 10–30 seconds

Data Sharing with Third-Party AI (Wiro.ai / OpenAI)

Your photos are securely transmitted to Wiro.ai for AI processing using HTTPS/TLS encryption. Wiro runs OpenAI GPT Image 2 to perform the transformation you requested. We also send your hairstyle and/or color selections, and sometimes a public style reference image (not your face). According to Wiro's and OpenAI's applicable terms and privacy policies:

• Processed only for your requested transformation
• Not used by us for advertising or user profiling
• Not permanently stored on our own servers
• Subject to Wiro's and OpenAI's security and privacy standards

Other Third-Party Services

We do not share your photos with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated analytics services. Photo processing is limited to Wiro.ai / OpenAI for AI previews. We also use standard app infrastructure: Firebase (anonymous authentication, credit balance, analytics), and RevenueCat (subscription status). We do not sell your photos.

Data Storage and Retention

Your Device:Original photos remain in your photo library under your complete control. Generated transformation images are saved only to your device's local storage and can be deleted at any time.

In-App Consent: Before your first AI transformation, the app shows a disclosure explaining what data is sent, who receives it (Wiro.ai / OpenAI), and asks you to agree. If you decline, no photo is sent.

During Processing: Photos exist in temporary device memory during the transformation (approximately 10–30 seconds) and are transmitted to Wiro.ai / OpenAI for immediate processing. No copies are stored on our servers at any point.

After Processing: We do not permanently retain your original photo on our servers. Generated previews remain on your device until you delete them. Third-party processors handle content transiently per their policies.

Retention by us: We do not retain your photos on developer-controlled servers after processing is complete.

What We Don't Do

HairStyleShare - Color Try On does NOT:

• Perform facial recognition or biometric authentication
• Create face templates, facial signatures, or biometric identifiers
• Extract or store biometric data from your photos
• Analyze faces for demographic information (age, gender, ethnicity, etc.)
• Track individuals across photos or sessions
• Use facial data for advertising or user profiling
• Build databases of faces or facial features
• Compare your face to other users or databases

Your Control

• You choose which photos to upload — we never access your library without permission
• Before your first AI transform, you must review and accept our in-app AI data sharing disclosure; you can decline and no photo will be sent
• You can delete generated images from your device anytime
• You can stop using the service at any time without consequence
• No data persists on our servers after you delete generated images from your device

Security

• HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted transmission to our AI partner (Wiro.ai / OpenAI) for processing
• No permanent photo storage on our servers means no long-term storage risks for your uploads
• Minimal data collection reduces potential exposure

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Photos: Images you upload for hairstyle transformations (as detailed above)
• Style Preferences: Your selections of hairstyles, colors, and preferences (stored locally on your device only)

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our app, we may automatically collect:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, crash reports (for app improvement and debugging) via Firebase Analytics
• Performance Data: App performance metrics, load times, error logs

This data is collected in a way that does not include your photos and is used for app functionality and improvement.

Subscription and Payment Information

HairStyleShare - Color Try Onoffers subscription services through Apple's In-App Purchase system:

• All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID account settings
• We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status (they do not receive payment information)

Children's Privacy

HairStyleShare - Color Try On is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information, including photos or face data, from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used our service, please contact us at infinitephasellc@gmail.com. Since we do not store photos on our servers, there is no photo data to delete from our servers.

Third-Party Services

Wiro.ai (AI processing)

We use Wiro.ai to run OpenAI GPT Image 2 for hairstyle transformations. Your photos may be transmitted to Wiro for this purpose. Review their privacy policy at wiro.ai/agreement/privacy-policy.

OpenAI

Image generation is performed via OpenAI models through Wiro. Review OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for anonymous authentication, credit balance, and analytics. Google's privacy policy applies: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

RevenueCat

We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app, updating the "Last Updated" date, and providing in-app notification for material changes. Your continued use of HairStyleShare - Color Try On after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery, provide details about what information was affected, and outline steps we're taking to address the breach.

International Users

HairStyleShare - Color Try On is operated by INFINITE PHASE LLC (Delaware, United States). If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information we collect may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer and processing.
